Sins of a Solar Empire

Now, I’m a bit of an RTS whore, but when Sins came it for some reason it didn’t register…until I found a cheap 2nd hand copy this past weekend. To say I pretty much just played it all weekend wouldn’t be too much of an understatement. I lost hours to this thing without even noticing and I think I know why. It let me have something I’ve always wanted. Command of a huge interstellar fleet of deadly, deadly space ships!

Seriously this game is massive. I spent two days on a “small” map with 14 planets before achieving total dominance, which can be done either via military dominance, crafty economics or diplomacy. Naturally I chose the former.

Think Supreme Commander in space and set over multiply star systems and you’ve got a good idea of what to expect. Sadly it is lacking a single player campaign mode, but it more then makes up for it in the sheer scale of it’s skirmishes. If your looking for something to draw you in, this is it.
